Residential Life
The Governor's School is residential for students, faculty, and staff. All aspects of residential life at the Governor's School are covered in the current version of the Student Handbook. Main areas covered by the handbook include Program Personnel, Our Mission, Arrival, Social Guidelines, Safety Procedures, Program Structure, Student Services, Departure, and the General Weekly Schedule.
PDF and HTML versions of the handbook are here, as well as an online message board and FAQ. As new versions of the Handbook become available, they will be posted. Note that dates listed in the handbook refer only to the current version's year.
Residence Halls & Other University Facilities
Review the philosophy for assigning roommates, access information about the residence halls, and read policies for use of other University facilities.
Scheduling changes frequently occur. This schedule provides a basic idea of the daily schedule, but should not be considered authoritative. Weekly schedules will be provided during the program to all students.
View brief biosketches of the resident advisors who live on the halls with the students, as well as the nurse, counselors, faculty, and other support staff personnel who are also in residence.
View information about the special events that occur every year at Governor's School, as well as some examples of special evening events from past summers.
