For Current Personnel

Here are some links of particular interest to our current faculty and staff. If there is information you reference often which you feel should be included, please let the webmaster know.

If you are interested in joining our faculty or staff, information about positions and the application process is available and is continually updated based on our current needs. We typically begin reviewing applications in November, and have our faculty and staff in place by February for the upcoming summer.

Planning Weekend Forms

Here current faculty and staff will find a host of resources that will be utilized during Planning Weekend. Hiring forms, to be filled out during the weekend, are below.

Staff Development Discussion Board

Not particularly active during the program, it finds its most use immediately prior to planning weekend and just after. This is a password protected area and is restricted to current faculty and staff.

Course Descriptions

Course descriptions from previous years are available. Course descriptions for the upcoming program are available beginning in April. If you need to make changes, please contact the office.

Hiring Forms

The following forms need to be completed and turned in before the hiring process can be complete. Copies of these forms will be available during the weekend, but are here in case you'd like to get started. Additionally, we must have on file a current résumé or CV that will be attached to the State Application.

  • State application (Word Doc) - much easier to fill out electronically and print. In section 10, include employer name, your title, and employment dates. The other information can be handled with "see attached."
  • I-9 (PDF) - Complete only the top section. Remember to bring the originals AND copies of the needed documents; most common documents used would be a passport, or your social security card and driver's license
  • W-4 (PDF) - Most folks will claim fewer allowances so more is witheld, particularly if you have another job.
  • VA-4 (PDF) - Most will want to claim fewer exemptions so more tax is witheld.
  • Direct Deposit Authorization (Word Doc) - CNU requires all employees to have their paychecks direct deposited. Bring a voided check.
  • SP-24 (PDF) - This form accompanies the completed fingerprint card. Everyone will need to be fingerprinted or provide a letter from their current employer certifying a background check (including fingerprinting) has already been completed.

Maps & Directions

All are PDFs.

Things to Bring

A quick check-off of things you MUST remember to bring with you.

  • Copy (for us) of documents for I-9 form

  • Copy of résumé or CV (or email it to the office by Thursday and we'll print it out)

Online Student Evaluation Process

Near the conclusion of the program, faculty are required to complete their student evaluations online. The process is self explanatory. This is a password protected area, restricted to current faculty, and not currently active.
