October 31 will be the reunion for the 2009 program participants. Held in the David Student Union at Christopher Newport University, all students, faculty, and staff from the 2009 summer are warmly invited to attend. Click for more details.
Evaluations Mailed
Student evaluations by faculty have been sent to high schools. Email the Governor's School office if there are questions or problems.
As of September 9, all the pictures taken this summer have been uploaded, including hundreds of pictures from all four dances, candids from classes, and more evening events. The Closing Ceremony slideshow is online as well.
The office is currently compiling student work from this summer in various formats (poetry, movies, pictures). If you have something you would like to share, please send a digital version to the office. Movies from "Persistence of Vision" and the PSA from the Darfur campaign are currently available.
If you haven't found us yet, Governor's School is on Facebook. Become a fan and stay connected. Open to anyone who wants to know what's going on in Governor's School world. Various student initiated groups are also available, typically organized by year.
